You’re really thrown into the middle of things, and it sets the tone for a very dramatic ride. Their hot air balloon sets on fire, they end up having to blow a hole in the side of the prison, and their rescuee turns out to be a girl who can control electricity. This book certainly starts with a bang and races along from there!
